Craftsman Bump Out
Older Craftsman homes typically have beautiful living and dining rooms, and not-so-great kitchens and bathrooms, as was the case here. However, there wasn’t a lot of space to expand the kitchen due to the lot constraints. What ended up working here was a 14 foot, 30 inch deep cantilevered bump out into which we placed most of the home’s major appliances. Beautiful soapstone counters and stained glass cabinet doors compliment the custom cherry cabinets.
